Hola!

So, the suits here at Frank say to me they say … “Roberts, if you’re not
on the staff page, YOU’RE NOT STAFF!” I took the less than subtle hint
that it was time to reveal myself to surfing masses!

I was born the youngest of three children; my parents considered naming
me Surprise, but thought I’d grow up to have issues. Since I have issues
anyway, you can call me Surprise if you wish, but I prefer Mike. I grew up
on the beautiful rock bound New England coast and started in radio at a
very young age because I thought it would help me meet girls. It did, but
they ended up not liking me much once we met so I settled for the glamour
of it all.

The rest of my life is pretty standard for a guy I guess. I hit puberty around
the usual time, failed to mature, went to college, drank a lot of beer, and
made my mother’s worse nightmares come true by staying in radio. Over the
past couple of decades I’ve managed to play top 40, country, rock, and even smooth jazz; now, I’m doing exactly what I love to do … playing the classics! Boston, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John … I’m sure you understand since you are already lovin’ Frank! My favorite band is Journey – Memo: Guys, it’s time to
patch things up!

So let’s get to know each other! I’m from “out of town” and don’t know a lot
of people! If you shoot me an email, there’s a good chance I’ll respond.
