Ken Johnson
|
This is Jenn from “Ken and Jenn in the Morning” and I was asked to write Ken’s bio for the website, in order for you, the listener, to get a better understanding of who I have to work with on a daily basis. I believe four words will completely sum him up, and they are: “meatloaf, pie, and movies”.
Ken is a grandpa from Las Vegas who plans his day around his meals and what movies or TV shows he will eat them in front of. His humor is like none other, as those of you who are subjected to him weekday mornings, undoubtedly know. But I digress….
In all seriousness, Ken Johnson is the best radio partner I have ever had the privilege of working with. He is a true professional, who wakes up every morning and looks forward to going to work – and honestly – how many of us can say that? His dedication to 107.5 Frank-FM is unprecedented and his loyalty to me as a co-worker and friend is unmatched. I have never worked with anyone who not only enjoys my company on the air, but who enjoys spending time with me and my kids when the show is over. He calls to check up on the children when they are sick, he brings them presents when they come to the studio, he even offers to baby sit so my husband and I can get a rare night out. And since my family means the world to me, Ken’s thoughtfulness and generosity with them is appreciated more than he knows.
I have never laughed so hard or had so much fun on the air as I do working with Ken. I am extremely grateful for him and for Frank-FM, but… those 4 words still stand… “meatloaf, pie, and movies”!

This is Ken from “Ken and Jenn in the Morning” and I was asked to write Jenn’s bio for the website, so here goes.
Jenn’s okay, but in all seriousness, as radio partners go, I’ve had better. She thinks my whole life is meatloaf, movies and pie… leaving out sushi and pizza entirely.
She's constantly laughing during the show... drives me nuts. And those damn kids! This one’s sick, this one’s crying… blah, blah, blah. Seems like I’m always buying them something… and do you know once she actually had the nerve to ask me to babysit??
Obviously, I'm joking (Did we fool ya? :-)
SERIOUSLY… Jenn is smart and funny and warm and amazing, and I in no way deserve to have a partner this great. What you hear is what you get with Jenn, and the privilege is all mine, believe me. She’s my radio angel, and as a bonus, she’s pretty darn hot! She can praise me for being excited to go to work, but if you got to work with Jenn Ryan... you would be, too.
