I'm the new guy at 107.5 Frank FM - thanks for being out there! After Ken & Jenn, start your workday with me as we go Commercial-Free from 9 to Noon and do the All-Request Workforce Lunch at Noon. As I get settled in here at Frank FM they'll be a lot of fun and stupidity to come! I'll be adding more cool stuff to this page regularly. You'll eventually be rewarded with moving pictures (fun videos! yay!) for plowing through all these dang WORDS.
I've been on the air in Eastern PA for the past 15 years, pretty much all points between Philly and The Poconos. What can I say? I love PA and being surrounded by music for a living. It's been a privilege to meet thousands of people, help hundreds of local businesses, hang with scores of rock stars of various stature, and work with a lot of great charity/public service organizations all over this great area of ours.
In addition to "playing radio" for a living and trying to ride the coattails of our morning stars Ken & Jenn, I act as Production Director here at Frank FM and make sure all the commercials get on the air when they're supposed to. I spend a lot of time manipulating soundwaves on digital audio software and shuffling scripts.
When away from the studios, I spend time with my wife Leah and kids Emily and Alex, pet my dog Darwin, and try to find a way to go see some live bands once in a while. I'm a big animal lover (like Randi!) and I'm a recycling fiend (you should see my garage!) I love to read and my favorite writers are Hunter Thompson, Chuck Klosterman, Henry Rollins, Jack Kerouac, and Benjamin Franklin...and I liked living vicariously through the book 40 Watts From Nowhere by Sue Carpenter. I have a ton of awe and respect for smart, naturally funny stand-up comedians. I'm a Yankee fan, but the Phils deserved it last year and I'm looking forward to checking out some Reading Phils games! I guess it's true that I'm a microbrew beer snob, especially the Saranac and Flying Dog labels. Of course, Yuengling is ingrained in my soul at this point.
Oh yeah, I also spend a lot of time being jealous of Randi because she has had a RADIO GIG IN THE CAYMAN ISLANDS! OH MY GOD!
